Although the description said that there was breakfast in the pension, this was not the case. We had to walk to the village just a few minutes away.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the property. Secondly, the location just outside of the park was ideal. It allowed for a peaceful atmosphere while still being within a short walking distance to the stunning lakes. Lastly, the rooms with a large terrace provided a gorgeous view that added an extra special touch to my stay.
All was more than satisfactory.

It was inside the Plitvitce park and withing walking distance to the lakes and boats. Our hostess, Rada, was wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. She even collected us at the busstop at the park gates on our arrival. She also upgraded us to a bigger room with a private patio at no extra charge and at her suggestion.

From the moment I emailed for directions to when I left, the staff were so helpful and informative. The room was the cleanest I have stayed in and was perfect for one night by the lakes. For a "budget" room it was very spacious with a comfy double bed. It's a 15 minute walk to the entrance which means that it was peaceful when you needed it to be at night.

We had a great stay at this guest house close to the national park. The staff was friendly and gave us helpful tips on how to handle the trip in the park. The room was clean and comfortable with nice facilities. Additionally, the location was perfect, only a short distance from the park entrance.
It was all superb.

Villa Lycos is next to the Plitvice lakes natural reserve. It was a nice friendly place to spend the night before entering the park itself.
We'd suggest to change a bit the evening dinner menue; to add some kind of soup and to cut the too big main course dish of fish or chicken.

I recently had a lovely stay at a charming hotel just outside the national park. The value for money was fantastic - the prices were very reasonable considering the convenient location and the attention to detail throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great service from check-in to check-out. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a nice view from the terrace. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, setting me up for a day of exploring.
Everything was fantastic, I couldn't fault a thing!

Staff, in particular the owner are very helpful. It is quite close to the main attraction which is the Plitvice Lakes. I have to admit that I did over-book the stay at Villa Lykos but the helpful owner did pulled out all the stops in finding further excursions away from Plitvice. His wife cooks well and he is fond of his 'Plum' Brandy.
Although I said the location was good in regards to the lakes, it's not that good in regards to public transport. If you have a car, great. But flying in from Zagreb or Zadar, you will have to rely on the long haul coaches which aren't the most punctual in the world. You can't get a train from this area. This is not a slur solely on this place but judging by the gardens and architecture of the hotels in this area, they don't seem to be wheelchair friendly. There are steps everywhere in these places.

Very nice b&b house close to the attractions of the Plitvice national park. Nearby bistro offers good value for money.
Breakfast was a little meager, but ok.

Great spot to stay close to Plitvice for Christmas. Located about 2kms from Entrance 2 of the Park. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. the lady who works there is very helpful. She offered a ride to the bus stop with a positive attitude.
The bathroom was small and the sink area was compact. the bed linen was not appropriate for hot weather and made sleeping difficult.
